Sixties Trend

Designers are always looking through history for inspiration- and this season the swinging 60s are definitely making a comeback. All eyes are on graphic prints, dresses and mod-style cuts.

Several stars have also paid homage to this era with big lashes and bold liner, opting for the graphic monochrome look over the classic smokey eye.

But why not give this look a modern twist? Graphic tees and dresses have graduated into style necessities for the modern woman. Alternate from a casual eye-catching tee and jeans combo to a more formal print dress for work, and don't forget to add some stand-out earrings to complete the look and tie in some of that eclectic sixties vibe.

Supermodel Chanel Iman includes a diverse range of successes in her career, she’s been a Victoria’s Secret Angel countless times, has graced dozens of prestigious magazine covers (Italian Elle,  Harper’s Bazaarm, i-D and American Vogue to name but a few) and fronted several campaigns. She’s also made her debut on TV- appearing alongside Tyra Banks as a guest judge on America’s Next Top Model- and her relationship with prodigious rapper A$AP Rocky is no secret

However Chanel doesn’t just stop there- the conscientous model is a dedicated activist, and in 2011 joined Uma Thurman and Geena Davis to raise awareness for East African drought. She also co-hosted a fundraising event alongside Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and raised money for Obama’s 2012 campaign. Can this girl do no wrong?

The model is as permanent a fixture in the showbiz world as she is in the style books- pulling off the boho look by day and glam eveningwear by night. Wear her style with some of our unique 2B Me jewellery to channel the ultimate hippie vibe.
