Tropicool

Floral pieces are a wardrobe essential every summer, but this season brings in unexpected combinations by clashing colours and prints, creating mismatched yet coordinated looks. Feminine and romantic pieces make way for summer, working full-blown tropical prints onto pastel backgrounds while more structured silhouettes such as the biker jacket are combined with multi coloured floral prints in a softer palette providing a contrast.

Sportswear styles are incorporated with more tropical prints in quirky colours, updating the sportswear trend but also keeping motifs and typography in bold black and white. Mirroring the feel of the summer, tactile and dimensional fabrics define the season; embellishment is a key detail to the trend, with many of the florals seen on the catwalk combining embroidery or appliqué into the prints. The focus of this trend remains with printed fabrics, whether bold and bright or muted and used as a background, florals continue to be layered, mixed and fused with an array of prints, including stripes, geometrics and checks.

Festival Style

Summer is here, which means the festival season is on!
Grab your shades, pucker up, let your hair loose and start dancing to the tunes played by your favourite bands.
Choose a kimono with tassels, statement necklaces, shorts, fedora hats and boots to create your best look to dazzle the front row on the main stage.
Pick bold prints including geometric, ethnic and arty styles combined with neon or earthyhues. This is the time to be daring and original and to defy what is the norm.

How To Wear The Slogan Tee With 2B Me Accessories

Slogan T-Shirt

Slogan t-shirts have been around since the 1960’s, and due to their playful and fun nature, as well as having the ability to send a message, it’s unsurprising that they are still as popular as ever. Seen recently on the SS14 runways at Christopher Kane, Kenzo, Vivienne Westwood and Alexander Wang, this trend has been given a whole new lease of life. This trend has been rocked by the likes of Cara Delevingne, Rihanna  and Nicola Roberts - and now you can ace it too! Here’s how...

Class up this look by pairing your slogan t-shirt with black jeans and heels. Add a statement necklace and a clutch and your outfit is complete.

Get The Glastonbury Look

Wellies and a playsuit? Yes, it’s that time of year again when people flock to muddy fields and mosh the night away in the gape of their favourite musicians; festival season is truly upon us. So what can I wear to a festival that is practical yet fashionable I hear you ask? Well fear not, for here are some tips to help you get the Glastonbury look…
One option you can opt for is a pair of wellies and a playsuit – you can still enjoy the mud whilst looking feminine. Try and match your playsuit and wellies to make your outfit more complete. Option two is the classic denim shorts and boots combo. Pair these with a white top and a kimono, which is one the must have items for summer. Option three is for the more glamorous of you festival goers: a tropical print jumpsuit and gladiator sandals. While this look may be less suitable for such an occasion, but who said festivals can’t be glamorous? And if you do decide you want to glam up your Glasto look, just add a statement necklace by 2B Me Accessories and you’re ready to dance all summer long.
